We will notify members when issues arise and offer sample letters and other tools to convey our position.

Tell your story
With all the discussion relating to broadband, it's helpful to share your experiences with your local paper, news organizations, your own Website or newsletter, legislators, Congress or other regulatory entities, particularly in these times of new economic models and the shifting trneds in telecommunications. There is nothing more powerful than personal experience and real life examples to bring the message home. We want to hear your story, so be sure to send us copies of any correspondence.
Write Congress and the Iowa Legislature
Make your voice heard on important issues. This section will include late breaking news on developments or activities taking place in Washington or with the Iowa Legislature that requires your involvement.
Send letters to the editor
Inform the press about the issues impacting your business and your customers. Be sure to check the Marketing Resources in the Member Center for tools such as sample news articles and press releases to aid you in this communication process.
Write the FCC
Let's face it. Washington is inundated with telecommunication lobbyists representing the big guys. It's important to bring rural America to these policy makers so that they understand the implications of delivering Internet service to a wind farm or deploying broadband to the countryside where you might have 1 customer per mile.
